Most of the volas leave and arrive in Trelew. Buses are provided with Puerto Madryn, you can rent a car at the airport or take a taxi. The only two companies are Andes, which offers flights several times a week for Buenos Aires and LAN which offer some connections for El Calafate, Mar del Plata and Buenos Aires. Aerolineas simply has an agency in Puerto Madryn. The airport has shops, telephones, car rental and Wi-Fi connection. Taxis and buses can take you to the city centre 5 km away.
