Here you are at more than 5,170 km from Ushuaia. After Humahuaca, the road is deserted before reaching the border town of La Quiaca, merged with its Bolivian twin sister Villazon. La Quiaca has no other interest than to allow the passage in Bolivia. A bridge joins the two villages, which are bustling with local markets of inexpensive Chinese goods for local travelers. From there, you can take a bus to Sucre, Potosi (8 hours drive) or La Paz. You can go to Uyuni by train (ask around, there are no trains every day). Be careful, don't forget the time difference (one hour less in Bolivia)
