MUSEO HISTORICO PROVINCIAL (CASA AVELLANEDA)
House of Argentine President Avellaneda, recounting the province's history through historical documents and artifacts
In the house where Argentine President Avellaneda was born, the history of the province is told through historical documents, photos and period objects. The house was designed by the Frenchman Pierre Etcheverry (who also designed the cathedral). For a long time, it was known as "the house of a hundred doors", because it had so many, and curiously not enough windows. The building is pretty, but a visit is not essential.
