FIESTA DE LA VENDIMIA

At the beginning of March, a three-day festival takes place with a parade of floats and the election of the queen of the grape harvest. The queens are elected in each of the cantons of the province throughout the month of February. The final show takes place in the amphitheatre of San Martín Park. All the queens then make their entrance, including those from previous years. The show, which changes its theme every year, is usually magnificent. The festivities end the next evening with a final concert in San Martín Park (free!).
