Located in the heart of a seismic region, Mendoza has unfortunately not been able to preserve any of the beauty of its colonial architecture. However, the city is very pleasant to live in with its wide tree-lined avenues, museums and pretty airy squares. It was during the 19th century that the wine industry took off and gave the city its stature as the wine capital: today Mendoza produces 70% of the country's wine products. Don't hesitate to explore the surrounding area to discover the most renowned vineyards! Finally, Mendoza is located at the foot of the Andes and is a privileged point of passage to Chile.
