In Mataderos, the district of the old slaughterhouses of the city. Our favourite feria area. It is really Argentinean and highlights certain regions of the interior (the province) such as the Pampa or the North-West. On the program: folk dances from the northwest, craft stands (prices are reasonable), parrillas in the open air (also stands of humitas or locros), Andean music and finally a demonstration of skill by the gauchos on their proud mounts (usually around 2pm). A beautiful authentic immersion!
