Museum in the basement of Casa Rosario, displaying objects and relics belonging to successive Argentine presidents.
The Museo del Bicentenario was inaugurated by former President Cristina Kirchner in May 2011, following the bicentenary of the May 1810 Revolution, and was renamed in 2016. It houses the collection formerly exhibited in the museum located in the basement of the Casa Rosada. The latter, created in 1957, closed its doors in 2010. The current museum displays objects and relics that have belonged to successive Argentine presidents. Also on display are the 17,000 volumes that make up the museum's library, which recount 200 years of national history.
