This soccer stadium, located in the Nuñez district of Buenos Aires, hosts matches for the famous CA River Plate, as well as the Argentine national team. Inaugurated in 1938, renovated in 1978 for the World Cup, the stadium now bears the name of former River Plate club president Antonio Vespucio Liberti. With a capacity of 65,500, it can be expanded to 76,600 for major events, including the superclásico between Boca Juniors and River.
