HOTEL DIYA DAHARA

On the north shore of the lake, close to the road, this restaurant is very popular with tourists in transit between the Cultural Triangle and Colombo, and serves cuisine to suit all palates. The buffet offers very good Sri Lankan and international recipes, as well as some dishes served a la carte. You can even linger for a drink or two. However, one stops here mainly for the outdoor setting which, from the terrace and the outdoor garden, offers a very pleasant view of the lake. A good stop.
