The Queen's Bathhouse was part of the palace complex. It was built in 1806. After the arrival of the British in 1815, the pool was filled with cement and another floor was added, then the building was transformed into a library in 1828. then into a police station. At the time of our visit in early 2019, it was being renovated for a future opening to the public, and nothing had really changed when we visited in January 2022... To be continued.
