A good hotel with classic decoration. The sober architecture of wood and concrete fits perfectly into the heights of the city. Between Bauhaus austerity and Frank Lloyd Wright purity of lines, the hotel overlooks Lake Bogambara. Inside, antique tiles and carved wood warm the atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and bright and have balconies to enjoy the view of the city. The restaurant has a few sheltered tables at the edge of the room and a pretty garden. Swimming pool and ayurvedic spa also available.

Très bel hôtel sur les hauteurs de Kandy, avec une superbe vue sur la ville et le lac. Chambre spacieuse et agréable. Par contre, literie très mauvaise (trous dans le matelas) et bourdonnement permanent même si la climatisation est arrêtée. Nous sommes prévenus par des affichettes pour les singes, mais nous n'en n'avons pas vus. La cuisine est bien moyenne. La piscine est jolie mais nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion d'en profiter.

Si on met de côté l'eau trouble de la piscine, les boissons plus chères qu'ailleurs et le personnel limite qui réclame son pourboire, on se trouve dans un hôtel avec une vue imprenable sur le lac Bogambara et une cuisine traditionnelle et européenne.
Chambres climatisées avec literie tout à fait correcte. N'espérez pas aérer votre chambre pendant votre absence (même dans les étages du haut, des singes pourraient saccager votre chambre.
Salle de bains non climatisée: température et humidité extérieures (fenêtre sans vitre), finitions à refaire entièrement (joints...).
Conclusion: pourquoi pas mais on doit pouvoir trouver mieux
