Built in 1858, this palace has 90 rooms. The atmosphere is nostalgic, the rooms in the eastern wing are pleasant and the pool is very refreshing. Don't miss the bar on the first floor, deliciously retro. Nice period gallery next to the hotel where you will find small stores. The main restaurant is open to the arcades of Sri Dalada Veediya and there is a second restaurant on the second floor. The hotel is the best in the city center and is right in front of the Temple of the Tooth and the lake.

Queen's, opposite the temple of the dent, with its beautiful lobby and its central position in kandy, make it a personal place almost unavoidable... very pleasant and discreet... superb dining room and delicious meals... bar veranda (with small museum) overlooking fresh beautiful outdoor, sometimes with a group of local musicians inviting to your table... in brief a large favourite for this hotel colonial era still in its juice!
very low prices considering the location and general quality (not the price of a Formula 1 in France...)
