This building, dating from the colonial era and former coffee factory, has the best possible location: opposite the Temple of the Tooth. Although the condition of the building leaves something to be desired, it is clean and the warmth of the wooden construction provides a rather pleasant atmosphere. The common terrace reserved for the customers is very appreciable. At this price, we can't ask for more. We really liked the old-fashioned style and the simple and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant-bar The Empire Café does not belong to the same management.
