BEACH HAVEN GUESTHOUSE

Opened in 1968, it is the first guesthouse in Galle. Also called Mrs. Wijenayake's Guest House, it has simple and clean rooms, many of them with air conditioning, a little bit nicer than the rooms with only a fan. The family is very friendly and will give you a warm welcome. They let their guests come and go as they please and do not impose a curfew, unlike many guesthouses in the Fort. Nice roof terrace where you can have a beer at sunset. Laundry service.
