Laksala is the only state-accredited gift and souvenir shop. It offers an eclectic mix of products, from tea and spice selections to colourful batiks, numerous arts and crafts and a large collection of gems and jewellery, all stamped 'All in Sri Lanka'. Prices are appropriate for the generally high standard of living of tourists visiting the island. In Colombo 7, two other Laksala stores are located at the National Museum and on Racecourse Promenade, Reid Avenue.
