The Grillanoo is a hotel-restaurant offering Creole and metropolitan cuisine. The setting is pleasant: the restaurant is tastefully decorated, a large room with a fireplace invites you to enjoy a digestif after a long day's walk. Nearby you can go hiking, horse riding, discover the Volcano City, and why not take the GRR2? One regrets all the same the impersonal decoration of the rooms and bungalows, although functional. But as far as prices are concerned, you are in the cheapest in the area.

Un hébergement surprenant par son manque d'entretien: toiles d'araignées en chambre et en salle de bain, carrelage de la salle de bain et de la douche qui collent aux pieds et se détachent, WC non fixé au sol, vidange du lavabo impossible, étagère sale, vis dépassant sur le mur de douche (risque de blessure), trou dans la porte d'entrée, télévision murale crasseuse, mobilier abîmé, détection incendie absente, chauffage mobile à bain d'huile, pas de porte manteau ni de garde robe, parquet griffé, murs tachés, carrelages de terrasse cassés, différence de niveau avec petite marche dangereuse de près d'1 cm entre la salle de bain et la chambre, petit-déjeuner industriel, porte de salle de bain sans fermeture, chambre pas nettoyée pour la seconde nuit, éclairage insuffisant pour accéder à la chambre bungalow depuis la route la nuit, voiture conseillée pour aller au restaurant, parking obligé sur la route (pas top cela !). BOF, BOF, BOF I had spent there fifteen years ago and I had not had an unforgettable memories. Time passing I was very predisposed for a new attempt. My chicken " the normande" " was carved; the créole" i.e sliced into the small pieces, including neck, a wing and other pieces including more bone than flesh. Not leg, hip or white.
Service minima, I had asked for a shandy an aperitif that was not possible,
basically a coffee shop and the bill we left without having tried the desserts offered.
I forgot to say the complex was quite tasty but the presence of apple districts cooked in my sauce (Norman) still cold leave me think my chicken had had to the microwave before arriving in the dish.
Go to fifteen years.
