A bar-restaurant with a beautiful terrace on the port. Small brasserie-style restaurant menu, with some entrecote and tartar dishes. You come here on Saturday evenings for karaoke and on Fridays for occasional concerts; but it is especially during football or rugby matches, broadcast on giant screens, that there is a crowd: the atmosphere is there! Otherwise, you can simply take advantage of the free wifi connection, or play cards while sipping a Dodo. The atmosphere is still very lively and the service is sometimes under tension.

Dîner très agréable au Bar de la Marine, sur le port de Saint Gilles. Accueil et service cordiaux. Excellents tataki de poissons. Nous recommandons.

Resto a évité!! INCOMPRÉHENSION TOTALE! Service minable avec une serveuse qui s'adresse et nous a accueilli très mal. temps d'attente avant d'etre servis 1heure alors qu'il n'y avait pas enormément de client!!! serveuse qui nous a ramené les verres a la main et non sur un plateau comme j'ai l'abitude de voir dans les autres bar que je fréquente. o final lors du paiement la serveuse jette ma carte de crédit sur la table apres avoir encaissé. si vous ne voulez pas etre déçu et vous sentir mal alaise je vous déconseille vivement ce restaurant. je comptais y allé durant toute la période de la coupe du monde pour y regarder les match mais ce fut la premiere et derniere fois que j'y ai posé les pieds.

I do not know if we fell a bad day, but I do not recommend this restaurant at all!
The service was very long 30 minutes before taking our order, 20 minutes to serve drinks and another 45 minutes to have our dish, but it did not have really crowd from one was a lunchtime on weekdays and barely half of the tables were occupied. Our fish (sea bream) was raw inside, chips had an odd brown that did not available in confidence. We did not take dessert because already our meal weighed on our stomachs. It really is a shame indeed outdoor setting (port of saint Gilles) is very nice.
