The jewel of Reunion's luxury hotel industry, the Lux is the largest hotel on the island, stretching over 7 hectares planted with filaos and coconut trees along the beach. On this exceptional location, probably the best on the island, this establishment has been established for decades, although it has changed hands and name several times. By the pool, one of the largest on the island, four restaurants spread out their terraces for lunch in the sun or dinner to the sound of lapping water. Probably the most hotel on the island: the 5 -star are deserved for idyllic setting, equipment (among others, swimming pool with views of the lagoon), the quality of the dishes in restaurants and comfort. You just need to take the time to live to the rhythm of the islands…

Idéalement situé au bord du lagon, à l'abri des risques requin, dans un beau parc bien entretenu, des chambres spacieuses sans extravagance. Le personnel est particulièrement attentionné, on se sent VIP tout au long du séjour. De beaux espaces autour de la grande piscine où on peut prendre un verre. Le restaurant vaut le détour pour son architecture coloniale en bois. La cuisine est à base de produits locaux revisités par un bon chef. Un moment exceptionnel à s'offrir

Located on the beach with direct access to the lagoon. Beautiful gardens. The rooms are housed in a shed-type structures.
Rooms are comfortable and functional.
There are suites located a little below the others.
Beautiful common areas. The hotel organises aperitifs in the early evening to taste some specialties, to the sound of local music.
It also has a botanical garden with flowers and plants of the island.
Possible “barbecue” (minimum 2 people maximum 10).
Very nice restaurant.
Very varied and copious buffet breakfast.

Nous avons passé notre anniversaire de mariage au Lux, nous en gardons un souvenir inoubliable.
Nous allons rarement dans un hôtel de cette catégrie, c'est vrai que le tarif est élevé, mais pour le service, le cadre... c'est justifié.
Il y a même du champagne (d'Afrique du Sud) au petit déjeuner !
Idéal pour fêter un grand évènement... romantique !
Les transats sur la plage sont exquis !
