Three thermal springs gush out at Dolenjske Toplice, two of them directly beneath the basins. They are almost 1 km deep. Temperatures reach 36°C. The water is recommended for rheumatism and motor disorders. Dolenjske was one of the most famous spas during the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. Two hundred and fifty years ago, the first medicinal analysis of thermal waters took place here.
