The Romanesque church of St. Primus is a major pilgrimage site in Slovenia, as it houses the relics of St. Primus and St. Felician, two Christian brothers who died as martyrs under ancient Rome. The fresco on the ceiling, dating from the Renaissance, provides a number of insights into local life during this period.
Gothic, St. Peter's Church is decorated with frescoes that have suffered more with the passage of time but it deserves some attention.
