This is the take-away point for the Bled cake, which is only prepared here according to the original recipe. It is not uncommon to see a long queue during the summer months to enjoy this must-have cake while enjoying the most magnificent view of the Bled landscape. Since the very first cream cake in 1953, more than 15 million Bled cakes have been made to date, using more than 131 tonnes of flour, 8,437 million eggs and 1,556,000 litres of milk. A Slovenian version of the mille-feuille to share... or to devour alone!
