This very ancient hostel is located on one of the main streets of Ljubljana. It is known for its typical Slovenian dishes. The interior is nice and if you want to eat outside, the restaurant has a quiet and shaded inner courtyard. The ražnjiči (veal skewers), a specialty in all the Balkans, are well cooked (7 €).

Very bad experience in this inn:
- We were not yet in the restaurant that the waiter with slovenian outfit already us to open the door to us to us.
- Setting and atmosphere are special: tree trunk next to a table, decor basic and not very pretty, the waiter prefer to move the chairs and tables rather than take our order.
- The famous veal brochettes described in your guide were not on the menu. After request at the waiter, there was not and recommended us a dish that according to him resembled for the modest sum of 17th (while kebabs were cost 7€)...
- The waiting time is long: barely 5 minutes after being itself, the waiter came to enjoy our order. Not have had the time to choose, we asked to pass by again later. What it has since it came to take the order after 30 minutes. Excluding, waiting time to order dessert or the bill... In short, we spent 1:30 to 2:00 in this restaurant eat a main course and a dessert.
- Rates dishes are quite around 9 20th that those indicated in the guide.
In short, large disappointment for this inn. We had the impression to go to a place not sockets tourists without much interest than in a typical inn.

Was the guide sly little minx really updated in 2011 for this restaurant?
I do not see how you can call " of inn authentique" a place where the waiter costume for the occasion welcomes you (season or force?) by the tireless menu: french, english, deutsch, italiano?
On the other, rather around €25 if you target a dish " typique" and a dessert. Otherwise, you can always cut off from the pasta... 3 dish for €8... The value for money you did better.
If you are, get your way: in this inn, the average time of the meal is of 2:30. Insist to have the bill, otherwise you will have a bottle of water in the square.
I complete the previous commentary in terms of the decor: bolduc surrounding the pillars wooden room, it was necessary to think... but question authenticity, you go through again of course!!
