Coco Resort El Nido is located just a few meters from Corong-Corong beach. Surrounded by greenery, you'll discover villas and bungalows of various sizes. Each unit features comfortable bedding, a furnished terrace or balcony, silent air conditioning, a mini bar, TV with international channels and free wifi. Some even have a private mini-pool where you can relax and soak up the sun. There's also an 80 m² swimming pool surrounded by a tropical garden. The resort is a bit outdated but clean and the service is ok.
It's a short walk to the beach. Neighborhood and furnishings (despite the jacuzzi on the terrace) doesn't quite correspond to the price level and is just at the upper 'stupid tourist level'. This brings excessive tourism with it and should therefore not be a reproach.
Unfortunately - as is often the case in the Philippines - everything that is no longer needed is burned. That's why the acrid smell of burnt plastic wafts through the resort several times a day, making your eyes water but that can also happen to you in a $1,000-a-night resort.
The only other point of criticism apart from the pricing is the in no way acceptable provision of WiFi.
