PANAGBENGA FESTIVAL (FESTIVAL DES FLEURS)

Panagbenga means "flowering season" in Kankanaey, the dialect of the Cordillera. During more than a month, many events and activities highlight the traditions and history of the city of Baguio and the Cordillera region. On the program: flower market, conferences, big flower parades and cultural presentation of the ethnic groups of the region. The festival ends with the election of the festival queen and a fireworks display.
