AIMAG MUSEUM

Housed in the old government house, the museum presents an interesting collection of old photographs of the city in its heyday as well as of the different temples and monasteries that theaimag had (a map indicates their location). The museum also exhibits an amazing cauldron where one could cook meat for 500 people! The museum of natural history presents the geography, the flora and the local fauna. It has a collection of stuffed animals from the region.
