AIMAG MUSEUM

It is a very small museum which has only a few objects to exhibit and is only of relative interest. In addition to the traditional collection on the local fauna and flora, one will find there some armors of the time of Chinggis Khaan, proximity of its birthplace obliges. A tusk and some bones of dinosaurs are also presented there, Mongolia being a territory on which many fossils of these prehistoric animals were found. In the park in front of the museum, statues of famous wrestlers are a popular stop for photos.
