CITY MUSEUM

Fauna and flora, stuffed animals, collection of shells and marine fossils... The museum contains everything you would expect from anaimag museum. It has even been renovated a few years ago and presents more modern spaces. The really unique piece of the place is a horse-headed fiddle(morin khuur), made in 1940 and decorated with portraits of Lenin and Sükhbaatar! There is also a section dedicated to a hero of the battle for the country's independence in 1921, within the room dedicated to the history of the region.
