BAIGAL UUD

Formerly called "Garage 24" and not to be confused with the camp of the same name (subject to misunderstandings there were two establishments of the same name owned by the same owner), this guesthouse is one of the most famous in Khatgal, rightly so. Now owned by Montrail Tours, the facilities are excellent compared to other accommodation options in the surrounding area, with the possible exception of the MS Guesthouse, which can only compete. The large living room in the main building, equipped with an old piano, a large sofa, a small library, a large world map and some photos, is an excellent meeting point with other backpackers to exchange information about the region and make friends. A large kitchen is also available for guests. In all, 5 yurts and 3 dormitories, for a total capacity of 44 people. Hot water in summer and very clean sanitary facilities. Horse rental at 10 000 T, as elsewhere. Their rental is also open to non-residents. Nature's Door also organizes a large number of activities: mountain biking, kayaking, camping... Finally, the couple who take care of the place, Chimgee and Bat-Ochir, are very warm and fussy about the quality of the welcome they offer to visitors.
