FESTIVAL DU RENNE (TSAATAN)

Since 2004, the shores of Lake Khövsgöl see the reindeer herders gather every summer from the depths of the taiga. Intended to promote the breeding of these animals and the way of life of the Tsaatan people, the festival gives the opportunity to discover the ancestral rites and gestures of the breeders. It offers a large number of activities, such as reindeer polo, shamanic rituals, folk music concerts, reindeer races and a small Naadam.
