In the same valley as Uushigiin Uver, Hyadag is a sacred spring to which many nomads converge. Surrounded by blue scarves, the spring is renowned for its waters, said to be beneficial for kidney ailments. A few metres away, a small stream is said to restore the vigour of hair, so Mongolians come here to sprinkle their heads. Finally, the local mud is supposed to soothe bruised joints. So it's not uncommon to see elderly people covered in mud in the middle of the steppe.
