AIMAG MUSEUM

A classic of the genre, with a collection, perhaps a little limited compared to many of its counterparts, on local fauna and flora. There are the classic stuffed animals, as well as musical instruments and archival photos from the war. Some traditional objects, such as saddles, are also on display. A permanent exhibition on the exploits of the only Mongolian to have been in space with the Russians, Zhugderdemidiyn Gurragcha, is worth a visit for those who have a little time.
