This very interesting archaeological complex indicates the ancient Turkish presence in Mongolian territory. It is a funerary site, known as that of the "stone-men"(khun chuluu). It testifies to the Turkish domination of the region between the 6th and 9th centuries. It is the largest site of its kind in Central Asia. The stones and their imprints are rather well preserved. It is also the occasion to notice that this national park is also a place of memory for the men, and a place of history for Mongolia.
