PEIXARIA MORONGUETA

Here, as the name of the restaurant indicates (peixeria means fish market in Portuguese), we enter an establishment totally dedicated to fish. The name means in the local language "to talk about good things". And it is true that there is no lack of good things. On the menu, we find a wide variety of Amazonian fish, in a charming little restaurant from which we can see the meeting of the rivers, prepared in moqueca bahianaise, grilled with banana or tucupi. You can observe the river and the barges that slowly make their way along it.
