Just before the football World Cup, the station underwent work to improve its infrastructure. There are a few bus destinations from the Manaus bus station. A majority of the destinations are nearby cities.

To Boa Vista, count 14 hours and about R$ 150 (with Eucatur), including crossing an Indian reserve. 5 departures per day.

Other "local" destinations include Maracapuru, 80 km west of Manaus, Itacoatiara, 240 km east. To get there, from the center, Leia or Santos-Dumont bus.
