To get there: take the Marex-Pres. Vargas (line 638) from Avenida Vargas or Marex-Felipe Patroni from Praça Felipe Patroni. Every 10 minutes or so. Allow 1 hour for travel.

Air travel from Belém to Cayenne: book and arrive early. Even if your seat has been checked in, if you're last in line at police control, you'll have the surreal sight of the plane taking off with your luggage.
