Very quiet beach with clear, calm waters and a small barraca, located near a freshwater lagoon

3.5 km from the center, Praia da Lagoa Azul is a very quiet beach with clear, calm waters that lies between Pitinga Beach and Taipe Beach. For many locals, this beach is not a beach in its own right. It has a small, pleasant "barraca" that is open on weekends and during the high season, and where prices are reasonable. The name of the beach comes from its proximity to a freshwater lagoon, behind the cliff that dominates the beach, which has now practically disappeared due to global warming.
