TAPIOCA TROPICAL

Tapioca is one of the typical specialties of the Nordeste. It is a manioc starch cake, which looks vaguely like a pancake. A traditional family sweet, there are many stalls of street vendors in the popular districts, markets and tourist areas of this region. In Itacaré, a tapioca seller is the talk of the town. Every evening, Nubie sets up her carioca kitchen on a corner of the main street and prepares excellent tapiocas with a unique recipe, of which only she has the secret. It is delicious.
