GARE ROUTIÈRE

It is easy to get from Salvador to Praia do Forte with transportation organized by Salvador travel agencies. The other way, perhaps a little longer, but still less expensive, is to take the public transport which connects daily the two cities of Salvador and Praia do Forte, which are not far apart. It takes 1h30 to 2 hours by bus to reach Praia do Forte from Salvador. There are several departures per day from the Salvador train station, the airport and the Calçada district. The round trip is easily done during the day.
