DIQUE DO TORORÓ

The dique do Tororó is a vast artificial lake located to the south-east of Pelourinho, in the district of the same name. Several restaurants and small cafés line the park that surrounds the lake, which can be circumnavigated by bicycle. You can rent pedal boats and even go fishing, while enjoying the peace and quiet offered by this pleasant green space in the heart of the city. A particular attraction for tourists is the 3-metre-high Orixás statues in the center of the lake.
