CASA DO RIO VERMELHO - JORGE AMADO E ZÉLIA GATTAI

Jorge Amado's house allows visitors to immerse themselves in the writer's soul. Visitors can tour the 2,000 m² house where Jorge Amado lived with his wife and family for almost 40 years. The 15 rooms are decorated with many objets d'art, including tiles painted by Picasso and the writer couple's personal objects. The beautiful garden, where the ashes of Amado and Gattai lie mixed with the soil of the large mango tree, completes the visit. Not to be missed!
