Monumental building with neoclassical façade, featuring a collection of precious objects and furnishings
The Palácio da Aclamação, built at the end of the 19th century, was the official residence of the governors of the State of Bahia from 1912 to 1967. Monumental in scale, the building boasts a superb white neoclassical façade, while the interior rooms feature numerous painted panels, arches and medallions. The luxurious collection of precious objects and furnishings includes furniture, porcelain, crystal, bronze sculptures, Persian and French carpets and paintings. The balconies offer fantastic views over the bay.
