Il faut compter les angelos ....il semblerait qu´ils aient été mal sculptés par les esclaves pour se venger des portugais . Elle est la representation d´un baroque flamboyant époustouflant. Le cloitre aussi A voir

Visiting the city center of Salvador is the pleasure of discovering this beautiful church in the original facade and only 10 R $ per person can visit the convent. We're free to walk pieces of coins to discover the sumptuous azouleros. A very interesting place.

Si vous ne devez visiter qu'un seul monument religieux à Salvador je vous conseille celui-ci ! Le couvent est assez joli avec ses mosaïques et l'Eglise vaut vraiment le détour, la décoration intérieure est impressionnante.

Essential to enter this church to discover this gold trickling baroque (St François must be turned in his tomb) and that contrasts with the relative sobriety of the façade. Work of cobsolidation was made in the cloister but the sea air continues to degrade ceramics panels (azuelos blue) that decorate the cloister. Not to be missed beside the only church with ornate façade whose sculptures were hidden for a long time in coating that apréservées them climate, the édlise of Terceiro ordem de Sao Francisco. A consil succeed in photographing façade: if the museum located above the post office is open, go up and you will find a room opposite this façade.

une visite rapide mais à ne pas rater pour une somme modique ou y aller pendant un office gratuitement pour admirer cette église exceptionnelle.De l'or recouvre une bonne partie de l'office.la visite du couvent n'a pas beaucoup d’intérêts.
