CARANGUEJO DE SERGIPE

Caranguejo restaurants and bars are very common along Avenida Oceânica and go very well with ice-cold beers. Opposite the famous "Barravento", the Carangueijo do Sergipe is a restaurant that since its beginnings combines quality products and decent prices. Here, the crabs are very fresh and well flavoured. They are served with a wooden board and a small hammer so that the animal can be peeled. The atmosphere is relaxed, Bahian style, locals mix with tourists.
