Beautiful church with a single clock tower, featuring a wooden structure with earthen walls.
Built in the Rococo style between 1766 and 1772, this beautiful church has a wooden structure with earthen walls. The main façade of this church is flanked by a single tower, the only one with a clock. The ceiling of the chapel was painted by José Soares de Araújo. In revenge for not having been paid the agreed sum, he put a rat's head on some of the figures. From the tower, there is a superb view of the city.
