Museum recounting the history of the Congonhas sanctuary, a World Heritage site, through some interesting exhibits.

The museum tells the history of the sanctuary and contains some interesting pieces. It is in charge of the conservation of the World Heritage Site. The building that houses the museum, although its architecture is very modernist and sober, made of cement, is in harmony with the colonial urban landscape of the small baroque towns of Minas Gerais. With 3,452.30 square meters, the museum has exhibition rooms, a technical reserve, a library, an auditorium, an educational area, and a cafeteria. There is an amphitheater outside.
