Ponta Leste is a district of Angra dos Reis, close to the Petrobras terminal. The beaches of Ponta Leste are worthy of interest. The beach of Monsuaba in particular, with a small waterfall(cantagalo) that is reached by a dirt road in front of the church square. From da Espia beach, at the headland of Ponta Leste, planted with mango trees and where an obelisk(aquidaba) reminds us of the sinking of a warship in 1906, there is a nice view of the bay. The west is wild and deserted. Diving on the beaches of Maceis and Pontal.
