When to go Rio De Janeiro ?

In Rio, the climate is tropical Atlantic and the weather is therefore very seasonal. In summer, from December to March, it is hot in Rio... very hot indeed! This is the hottest time of the year, with temperatures reaching up to 40°C and a humidity level of 90%! Strong tropical thunderstorms can occur at the end of the day. In the winter, from June to September, the weather in Rio is milder, around 20-25°C, and some nights can be cool.
