A house with a neoclassical facade, a cinema and a space for numerous events and exhibitions

Designed by the French architect Grandjean de Montigny, the Casa França-Brasil building is characterized by the austerity of its neoclassical façade. This is probably due to its original functions. It was once a building for the customs service. Nowadays, in order to meet its new, more artistic functions, the space of the house houses numerous exhibitions and events, highlighting the culture in Brazil. The house also has a movie theater. Unfortunately, there is talk of the Casa França-Brasil closing soon.
