This cultural center dedicated to the navy and located on the shore of Guanabara Bay offers a very interesting permanent exhibition on the history of Brazilian navigation, numerous maps and multiple navigation instruments of the Brazilian navy. You can visit a replica of a 17th century Portuguese conquistador caravel, and especially the Riachuelo, a submarine of the Brazilian Navy dating from 1973 and transformed into a discovery museum in 1997.
