2 beaches little-known to tourists in Rio: the wild, off-center Grumari beach, and Abricó, a beautiful naturist beach

These two beaches are two wonders quite unknown to tourists and even to the Cariocas. Very out of the way, Grumari is the most southwestern beach of the city of Rio, very wild, surrounded by the mountains and the Mata Atlântica. Wild and beautiful... but still nearly an hour's drive from Ipanema!

The beach of Abricó which is attached to it just to the east is a beautiful naturist beach located in the natural area of Grumari. It is not very easy to get to.
